Is this a ‘new old picture’??
In my head, i thought Jensen without his faux-hawk would be wrong, but i actually think this is kinda kinky. I just want to stroke it *grabby hands*
I have no idea about its origins, where it’s from, when it was taken, if it is real, but we’ll keep you updated

ETA: Ok, word is its from 2006. But why have we not seen it before? I want more shaven haven goodness! *pouting*
ETA 2: Finally, its been cleared up!! Tis a recent pic after all. Jensen shaved his head as soon as the strike began in December 07. It comes from Jensen’s mouth y’all. Well, via CharmingAussie! 
Oh and totally random, but this picture reminds me of Chad White. Can you see it? Or maybe him and Wentworth decided to get matching cuts. Mmmmm, WENSEN *drools*

Hmmmmm not sure, I mean yeah Jensen would look hot in a tea cosy, but i like his hair!! Justin Timberlake definately better shaved, Went MUCH better sans hair…I wonder whats it’s like down below!!?? Any suggestions on that girlys??

If this is Jensen at the wrap party for the indie film he did, called Ten Inch Hero, then the buzz cut he is sporting, has grown out.
In Ten Inch Hero (the film), Jensen’s character Priestly actually has several different coloured mowhawk’s and Jensen grew his hair longer to support the mowhawk style.
At the wrap party, Jensen, would be wearing the buzz cut, because his next project would be to return to the role of Dean Winchester on Supernatural and by the time Jensen returned to filming on SPN, his hair would have grown out to it’s normal length (for his character of Dean

I don’t think that’s from the TIH wrap party. That would have happened in the summer, right? Jensen has a wool scrap wrapped around his neck in this photo. Plus all the other people in the photo are also wearing layers and coats…kind of hot for the summer, right?
But, I have no clue when might have been taken either.

Jensen had a buzz cut like that around May/June 2005. He was dating Joanna Krupa at the time and she had the cover of Playboy and there is a picture of them at the party held in her honor, I think, and he’s got a buzz cut. So I think it was probably taken around that time. Because TIH actually finished filming only 2 days before Supernatural Season 2 started filming and Jensen clearly did not have a buzz cut in “In My Time of Dying”.
Unless it’s a new picture and he’s shaved his head since last week.

Oh Thank The Lord, hallelujah … for letting me know his hair has partly grown back Emily. I don’t know how much more my heart can take after this.

M Tizzle, Felicity is the chic from the TV show Felicity. Anyway, she had this long, luxurious hair and she blindly chopped it off ala Mia Farrow. Shortly after her hideous haircut, her show was canceled

But it’s grown out since then anyway. What someone needs to do is convince him he has lovely hair. He thinks his hair sucks, once said it was his worst feature. We just have to show his hair the love and maybe he’ll learn to love it too.

But Jensen’s got such a pretty shaped head, the buzz cut is nice.
Mind you I love him longer hair too just as much. I think his hair when he played Alec on Dark Angel, near the end of season 2, is the best hair-do he’s had.
I doubt that’s a real “Jensen Ackles” Myspace page but are we sure about the date now being Dec 2006 and not Dec 2007?

this was definitely taken in 2006. early december. but it wasn’t the TIH wrap party, it was a Christmas party thrown by one of Jensen’s friends in West Hollywood. hope this helped with the confusion

So I’m almost positive this pic is recent–as in Christmas break recent. Jensen mentioned to someone during his Aus tour that he pretty much shaved his head once the writer’s strike started. He said if the strike had finished in two weeks Dean would’ve been wearing a lot of hats–well, that or Dean would’ve been driven to shaving his head because of being hellbound. haha. The writers would’ve come up with something.
